If I am searching for an attorney to represent me in Florida, what should I be asking to ensure I make an informed decision?
Answer: I think the most important question that you can ask an attorney is a couple things: how long have they practiced law? Do they practice in the location of where you were charged? And three, what is their experience at trial? Many, many lawyers out there do not go to trial, and I think that is one of the most important things when choosing a lawyer. Because if the other side knows your lawyer goes to trial, then there will obviously be a better chance to negotiate a better sentence. And if you can’t negotiate a sentence that’s satisfactory, then you know your lawyer is confident and can try the case.
