Will I go to jail for a DUI conviction in Florida?
Answer: This is probably the most asked question and it really depends on the facts of the case. Normally I would say on a first offense DUI, you’re not generally looking at jail time. Anything after a first DUI, depending on the jurisdiction you’re arrested in, jail is a significant possibility. If you have a second DUI within five years of your first DUI conviction, you will be sentenced to at a minimum ten days in the county jail. If it’s your third DUI within 10 years of your second, it’s a minimum of 30 days in the county jail.
