How did you get into law practice in Florida and what makes you passionate about defending clients?
Answer: For as long as I can remember I was always, you know, kind of intrigued by the criminal justice system. More so, defendants. Just because I’ve always felt I was the underdog. And when you’re representing someone in DUI or a criminal case, the cards are definitely stacked against the person. So as I went through law school and got more specific into what my passion was— defending someone who is the underdog and where you have to be very creative to establish certain defenses for your clients. And I am dead passionate about winning. So I love to win, so my competitive spirit was most apt to criminal defense.
